Yup, faire and drama, a symbiotic relationship.
I visited a faire over the weekend. I had a pleasant day. I enjoyed the day, the faire, the friends and a few of the laughs that my lil twisted mind found in observation.
I decided the GM was stalking me after he snuck up and stood behind me early in the am as I spoke with one of his staff. It was a silly giggle when I'd look up and find him crossing my path yet again. He wasn't stalking me, he was doing his job, we just happened to be in several different places at the same time through the course of my wandering.
I observed a group from another area faire. I found it amusing that they were wearing banners/sashs on their garb identifing what faire they were from and what cast group within their faire. I guess..... they didn't think you could tell by their costumes. That thought tickled me no end.
I'm sure they thought it a (not so subtle) way of advertising their faire. it made me think, instead, of what a mom does when a lil child goes out by themselves for the first time. <snicker>They had a "if lost, return me to....."sign on them. Obviously these adults must not be okay on their own and need a written banner to make sure they can find someone to help them get home.
Okay, so yeah, my laughter was had by observing and choosing to find the world a different shade of rose at someone else's expense.
A lil off center and finding the fun in life yet again.
